RAINY DAY RANCH TEAM
Executive Director and Lead Instructor
Stephanie was born and raised in Colorado and spent her life outside. A lifelong love of horses led Stephanie to volunteer at Texas Tech Therapeutic Riding Center, and subsequently gain her certification as a PATH Intl Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor. She has been teaching horsemanship to students with special needs for three years. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with a minor in Animal Science, and an Equine Science Certificate in Equine Assisted Therapy.
Liz grew up in Lacey, WA and graduated from North Thurston High School. She spent her growing up years backpacking with family, riding horses, boating, and working at her father's dental practice. After graduating with a degree in Sociology, Liz spent several years raising kids and volunteering with the United Way to help low income mothers who had few resources. She decided to resume her work with horses by volunteering with us at Rainy Day Ranch. Her contagious positivity and leadership led her to become our volunteer coordinator. We love having her has part of our team!
