Our team of horses were selected for a career in therapeutic riding based on temperament, age, experience, training, and overall health and conformation. Our equine team is the base of Rainy Day Ranch and all we do. We love our horses!

BARON

Baron is a shy and sweet addition to the rainy day staff. Baron is soft, quiet and gentle with all the students and volunteers he works with. He is short but very strong. Baron is apart of our adaptive and independent riding programs.

ROMEO
A Quarter Horse Pony, Grulla Gelding
Romeo has a small but stout frame that allows him to carry a variety of riders. He is gentle, calm, and easy to approach. Popular for his funny personality and pony-sized features!

Luna is a calm and confident horse. She understands her job and takes it seriously. Luna loves being with kids and loves attention. Luna's favorite place to be is on the trails. Luna is currently working in the independent lesson horse.

Friday is a strong, confident, voice trained horse. Friday loves meeting new riders and enjoys getting to know the riders he is paired with. He is a fun horse to ride and get to know. Friday has a very goofy personality and the most perfect puppy dog eyes. Friday works in our adaptive, independent and, hippo therapy lessons.
