If you have an interest or love for horses and want to help out your community, come join us for our volunteer orientation. You'll learn about horses, how to groom, tack and lead them. Create new connections with horses, other volunteers and the horse rider.

About the event
Learn how to support horses and their riders on therapeutic riding lessons. Grooming, tacking, and leading will be taught to help volunteers feel confident and comfortable around horses. We will also teach volunteers how to sidewalk, this is a volunteer supporting the rider while they are riding the horse. We will have all volunteers interested in doing sidewalking perform an emergency dismount.
